Following the unsettling warnings from the previous ceremony, Solène and her fellow students participate in a sacred invocation of the Rada lwa—the oldest and most peaceful spirits. Under Manbo Elaine’s guidance, they call upon Danballa Wedo, Ayida Wedo, Erzulie Freda, and Kouzen Azaka, each bringing wisdom, love, and balance. As Solène chants, she feels the calming embrace of the lwa, temporarily lifting the weight of the darkness that lingers in her mind.

However, even as the spirits of light offer guidance and peace, a shadow lurks at the edges of her consciousness. That night, she dreams of an endless ocean, where a haunting melody calls to her, leading her toward a mysterious figure rising from the depths. Though the Rada spirits have brought tranquility, Solène senses that the balance is still fragile—and something unknown is waiting for her beyond the waves.
