We got Charlie Ward in the house today and we couldn’t be more excited. Ward was a star athlete in both Basketball and Football for the Florida State Seminoles. He helped lead their basketball team to an Elite 8, was a Heisman Trophy winner, and led their Football team to their first National Championship. He was even drafted to play baseball in 1993. We can’t just label Charlie Ward as a basketball player, or even just an athlete. He is leader above all else.
Charlie went the basketball route and was selected 26th overall by the New York Knicks in the first round of the 1994 NBA Draft. He was a floor general for those tough 90’s New York Knicks teams in an elite Point Guard era. He even helped lead an 8th seed to the NBA Finals for the first time ever. He finished with an impressive 11 years of service in the NBA and we got to hear all about it.
Our time with Charlie was a blessing. He is somebody who inspires many multi-sport athletes and we can’t thank him enough for his time. He even gave us a great impression of our Not In My House soundbite at the end! We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did and one thing is for sure, theres no one quite like Charlie Ward.
Thank you Charlie!
