Chauvin trial continues with key testimony from Minneapolis police chief

Tonight on The Last Word: The trial of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd continued today with Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo claiming that Chauvin’s choice of restraint against Floyd is in no way part of the force’s policies, ethics or values. A new ruling from the Senate parliamentarian today will allow two new bills to be passed with a simple majority vote, providing a new avenue to pass President Biden’s infrastructure plan through reconciliation. Plus, the latest on the allegations of sexual misconduct against Congressman Matt Gaetz, and new information on a Trump campaign fundraising scam that kept the campaign afloat.
