Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend! I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks… Let’s get started!    Karyn: Hello, I'm so glad to have come across your work. Before I did I had seen many naturopaths and medical doctors about my sons stools, which have never been normal - and it's clear his body cannot digest foods properly. After numerous tests we discovered he has a candida and various other bacterial overgrowth. Due to my sons age - he's just turned 3 - I have been extremely cautious about following the advice of naturopaths regarding herbal remedies to treat his candida. So far we have tried with diet alone and a couple of drops of Biocidin each day. That was until I found your protocol. We bought it and then realised he is too young to start on it. Do you have any recommendations for helping children with candida overgrowth younger than 4? Is it a concern that he will be living with this overgrowth for another year until he can commence the protocol? Also, could you explain a little more on how the Flora Film works? I believe it is very similar to Biocidin in that they are both biofilm disruptors. Thank you in advance for your guidance. Judy: Hi there! Can you please share how you recommend treating cuts and scrapes for your kiddos (and the occasional clumsy adults) to minimize scarring and preventing infection? Also, I grew up using hydrogen peroxide to prevent infection. Is it bad to use for cleaning cuts? Katie: Starting in my 20's I would notice when I got tired and I was sitting my legs would " Jump" involuntarily. Once it started it would continue till I either went to bed or got up and walked around but walking was only temporary because once I would sit back down it would start again. As I have gotten old and get tired earlier, The legs start jumping earlier each night. Usually between 8:00-9:00 when I'm watching TV. Is there something I can do? Is it neurological? My body might be tired but I'm not always ready to go to sleep. Ivana: Dear Dr. Cabral, I'm a 23 years old female who was diagnosed with Crohn's disease last year. When I was 16, I started experiencing various symptoms such as migraines, weight loss, bloating, extreme thirst, irregular bowel movements, bloating and stomach pain. I also lost my period and was diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome. Typically, my doctors could't figure out what was wrong because all of my blood work was more or less okay. I knew something was wrong so I cut out gluten and diary completely, focused on healthy foods, and I started exercising regularly. I experienced significant improvements and I managed to gain bit of weight and get my period back on my own, refusing to take hormonal therapy. However, problems persisted and I was pretty sure I have Crohn's before my doctors could confirm it. They found out from an MRI that the damage was already done, and I had a small stenosis in the terminal ileum. This is why I experienced constant bloating and didn't have much appetite. The disease was not active, but the damage it has done was causing me problems. In December 2018, I had a surgery to remove this part of the small intestine (around 5 centimetres). Now I am determined to live without taking usual medications they prescribe. I am not on therapy and I'm waiting for a colonoscopy, which will determine whether there is any sign of active disease. All of my blood work (conventional tests) is okay, besides my liver enzymes (ALT and sometimes the others), lipase, amylase and cholesterol being consistenly elevated over the past three years. Liver enzymes are not very high, so my doctors say it's probably nothing, but I'm again afraid they don't pay attention to anything that is just slightly off. I eat very healthy, absolutely no processed food, variety of organic fruits and vegetables often coming from my grandparents, no gluten and diary, exercising 5 times a week. I used to be very stressed while studying, but I took the past six months off to focus on my health, educate myself a bit more and get stronger after the surgery, so I would say I'm much more relaxed now than I used to be. I'm taking omega 3, vsl probiotic, curcumin and boswellia to fight inflammation (my doctor even acknowledged this could be more helpful than Pentasa). Could you think of a reason why enzymes would be elevated and do you have a suggestion of what I could ask my doctors to run, to make sure everything is okay? Symptoms that I still have are irregular periods and thirst that doesn't go away no matter how much water I drink. I've been tested for different types of diabetes, but all came back negative. Could this be a sign of something connected to the liver or pancreas? I'm based in Croatia so I cannot do any testing, but I hope to move to Belgium soon. If I manage to run some test with you, what would you recommend I do first? Is there anything else I could do or take in the meantime to support my body and balance it? Thank you for your time and everyday efforts, I am beyond grateful to have access to so much knowledge you share, it's truly priceless! Best, Ivana Cassidy: Hi Dr. Cabral! Can you talk about what supplements (and dosing) you give your kids daily and what you give them (and dose) when they are sick? Would you consider doing a podcast on kids health? I would love to learn more about how to support my 5 year old's health from a prevention stand point. Can kids use all of your supplements the same as adults? I saw on your site there is a section for kids but unsure the doses they can have and which supplements they should take daily and how much. Also, my 5 year old is having internment headaches (she fell when she was 2 and had a CAT scan and was cleared and just this past year had a MRI and was clear), anything you would recommend as far as testing for her and/or supplements? So appreciate everything you do! Thank you for changing the world! :) Cassidy: Hello. Can my five year old daughter have the daily nutritional support shake powder, magnesium, omegas and probiotics you sell? If so, can you tell me what dose of each she can have? Thank you! Luke: Hi Dr.Cabral. Thanks very much for answering my previous question on your daily house call. I suffered a severe knee injury thee years ago where I snapped my ACL, MCL and had meniscus tearing. I rehabilitated this without surgery and have since returned to sport. Just recently I have twisted my knee again and due to the lack of stability without an ACL I have again sustained damage to my meniscus. I don't want surgery but this looks like the only option now for me to return to sports. I have 2 questions. 1. Is there anything else that you know of that can heal my ACL without surgery or any other natural remedies I could try? 2. If surgery is the only option what should I do before and after this to help my body through it as I am trying my best to do things as naturally as possible. Thanks again, Luke.   Thank you for tuning into this weekend’s Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right! - - - Show Notes & Resources:  http://StephenCabral.com/1255 - - - Dr. Cabral's New Book, The Rain Barrel Effect https://amzn.to/2H0W7Ge - - - Join the Community & Get Your Questions Answered: http://CabralSupportGroup.com - - -   Dr. Cabral’s Most Popular Supplements: > “The Dr. Cabral Daily Protocol” (This is what Dr. Cabral does every day!) - - - > Dr. Cabral Detox  (The fastest way to get well, lose weight, and feel great!) - - - > Daily Nutritional Support Shake  (#1 “All-in-One recommendation in my practice) - - - > Daily Fruit & Vegetables Blend  (22 organic fruit & vegetables “greens powder”) - - - > CBD Oil  (Full-spectrum, 3rd part-tested & organically grown) - - - > Candida/Bacterial Overgrowth, Leaky Gut, Parasite & Speciality Supplement Packages - - - > See All Supplements: https://equilibriumnutrition.com/collections/supplements  - - -   Dr. Cabral’s Most Popular At-Home Lab Tests: > Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (Test for mineral imbalances & heavy metal toxicity) - - - > Organic Acids Test (Test for 75 biomarkers including yeast & bacterial gut overgrowth, as well as vitamin levels) - - - > Thyroid + Adrenal + Hormone Test  (Discover your complete thyroid, adrenal, hormone, vitamin D & insulin levels) - - - > Adrenal + Hormone Test (Run your adrenal & hormone levels) - - - > Food Sensitivity Test (Find out your hidden food sensitivities) - - - > Omega-3 Test (Discover your levels of inflammation related to your omega-6 to omega-3 levels) - - - > Stool Test (Use this test to uncover any bacterial, h.
