Questions from todays show:

Guy's Questions:

Thanks for the videos Guy. I know this is an old post but one more question: I understand the grain directions but why would you flip the board when working it down in thickness? Would you not want to keep the same reference surface for each pass or does it not matter? Are you just trying to take evenly from both sides? Thanks again.

You use MDF as the base or backer. My experience is that MDF doesn’t screw into very well. But since you and I don’t use much hardware, I guess it doesn’t matter. But if you do need to screw into MDF, does pre-drilling do well enough and is strong enough for your projects?

Huy's Questions:

How much of the back of a new set of chisels do I need to flatten and polish?

Why is the top of your miter saw station so tall compared to the rest of your work surfaces?

Sean's Questions:

What is a starter pin(router table) and when/why would you use it?

How do you glue up thin panels?
