In 2015, Chris Coulter experienced the unimaginable loss of his 14-year-old daughter, Maddie, to suicide. That tragedy changed everything. As a result, Chris turned his grief into action and created The MentorWell, a mentorship platform designed to give parents and teens a lifeline before crisis strikes.
What Is The MentorWell?The MentorWell is a bridge between parenting and therapy. It does not replace therapy. Instead, it fills the gap in between, providing support, confidence, resilience, and direction to young people before they reach a breaking point.

Helping Parents and Employers Spot Early Warning SignsIn addition to supporting teens, Chris and the MentorWell team also work with parents and employers. They train adults to recognize the early signs of struggle in teens and young adults. In doing so, they help prevent crises before they happen.
Because the truth is, once a child falls into crisis, mentorship becomes a very different and often more limited tool. However, if parents, schools, and organizations can reach a child earlier, they can change the story—and change the child's future.
