Three cultures collided as the Messiah entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday: the government of Rome, the covenant people of Israel, and the coming kingdom of God. On that day, the Jewish people prophetically proclaimed that "Christ is king!" Before the week was out, all the universe would know it.
