For the 35th episode of the CIO podcast hosted by Healthcare IT Today, we sat down with Ed Boze, Chief Innovation Officer at City of Paterson. While this is a bit of departure from our usual healthcare provider organization CIOs, we thought the work that Boze and his team at City of Paterson were doing along with a recent $1 million grant they got from Bloomberg for their work was worthy of inclusion in the CIO podcast. The opioid crisis is a challenge and it’s going to take the work of more than just healthcare to solve. Boze offered a number of unique insights into how City of Paterson is approaching the crisis in their community and a program they call RealFix.
