Classic Marvel Star Wars Comics Issue 37 "IN MORTAL COMBAT" (April 1980) totes itself as the final issue before The Empire Strikes Back adaptation. Hence, several storylines wrap up and we see an epilogue that returns Han and Chewie to the Rebels and a few other Empire set-ups. Arranged by Domina Tagge, she plans to not only have Luke killed, but Vader as well since he was a long- time rival of her brother Baron Orman Tagge.    Held at blaster point, the Baron forces Han to bring him to Monastery to save his sister from corruption. When the Falcon comes to a bumpy stop, Han and Leia subdue the Orman, but he escapes when incoming TIE fighters begin firing on the Falcon. Orman enters the Crystal Valley and confronts Vader. The dark lord reveals to Orman that his sister is not as innocent as he believes.
