The problem is that sometimes it can be really have to figure out who you should and should not give that assistance too. That’s why we’ve created a list of 5 questions that we typically ask when deciding whether to say “Yay” or “Nay.”

1. What created this situation?
2. Can we afford to help this person? If so, with how much?
3. Do they have a proven history of needing financial assistance? If so, are we assisting or enabling?
4. What is their game plan to avoid this in the future?
5. When I pray about it, what does the Holy Spirit say?
