Darton’s Ted Harpham joins host Mike Avery with some exciting news from the Michigan based archery company.  
 
First, Ted unveils details of the new Toxin 135 crossbow.  This bow will feature a  thirteen and a half inch power stroke and speeds up to 380 fps.  
 
Then the guys discuss the new Darton website (http://www.DartonArchery.com) and how archers looking to become Darton staff shooters can use that site submit their interest in joining the team.
 
Ted also talks about a new partnership with the Scholastic 3D Youth Archery Program (http://www.s3da.org).
 
And finally, the conversation turns to the Darton Ranger bow and why that’s a great choice for young archers.

Hunting season is here and that’s the opening topic this month on the Darton Archery Podcast. Darton’s Ted Harpham and host Mike Avery talk about the success hunters have had so far with Darton compounds and crossbows. Then Brent Pinter joins the conversation.  Brent is a police officer who was shot in the arm during a traffic stop.  Brent is an avid hunter, but as a result of his injury, can no longer draw a compound bow.  Darton donated a crossbow and cocking winch to the injured officer so he can continue hunting.
