Es: El sol brillaba sobre el Mercado de San Miguel en Madrid.
En: The sun shone over the Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid.

Es: Era un día perfecto para comprar.
En: It was a perfect day for shopping.

Es: Diego decidió pasear por los pasillos llenos de colores y olores deliciosos.
En: Diego decided to stroll through the aisles filled with colors and delicious smells.

Es: Caminó hasta un puesto de jamón ibérico, uno de sus favoritos.
En: He walked to a stall with Iberian ham, one of his favorites.

Es: Diego tenía hambre y quería un poco de jamón para llevar a casa.
En: Diego was hungry and wanted some ham to take home.

Es: Se acercó al mostrador y sonrió al vendedor.
En: He approached the counter and smiled at the vendor.

Es: "Quiero un cuarto de kilo de jamón ibérico, por favor," dijo educadamente.
En: "I would like a quarter kilo of Iberian ham, please," he said politely.

Es: El vendedor era un hombre mayor, con un delantal blanco y una sonrisa amable.
En: The vendor was an older man, wearing a white apron and a kind smile.

Es: El hombre cortó el jamón con cuidado.
En: The man carefully sliced the ham.

Es: Diego sacó una moneda de su bolsillo y la puso en el mostrador.
En: Diego pulled a coin from his pocket and placed it on the counter.

Es: El vendedor miró la moneda y luego miró a Diego con los ojos muy abiertos.
En: The vendor looked at the coin and then looked at Diego with wide eyes.

Es: "Joven, ¿sabe lo que tiene aquí?
En: "Young man, do you know what you have here?"

Es: " preguntó el vendedor.

Es: Diego se sorprendió.
En: Diego was surprised.

Es: "Es solo un euro," respondió, sin entender la reacción del hombre.
En: "It's just a euro," he replied, not understanding the man's reaction.

Es: El vendedor se rió.
En: The vendor laughed.

Es: "No, no es un euro.
En: "No, it's not a euro.

Es: Esta es una moneda antigua de mucho valor.
En: This is an old coin of great value.

Es: Es muy rara y cuesta una fortuna," explicó el vendedor.
En: It's very rare and worth a fortune," the vendor explained.

Es: Diego no podía creerlo.
En: Diego couldn't believe it.

Es: "¿De verdad?
En: "Really?

Es: No lo sabía," dijo, emocionado y nervioso a la vez.
En: I didn’t know," he said, excited and nervous at the same time.

Es: El vendedor sonrió.
En: The vendor smiled.

Es: "Te diré algo, joven.
En: "I'll tell you what, young man.

Es: Te ofrezco diez mil euros por esta moneda," propuso el vendedor.
En: I'll offer you ten thousand euros for this coin," proposed the vendor.

Es: Diego se quedó sin palabras.
En: Diego was speechless.

Es: No podía creer su suerte.
En: He couldn't believe his luck.

Es: Aceptó la oferta rápidamente y entregó la moneda antigua.
En: He quickly accepted the offer and handed over the antique coin.

Es: El vendedor, muy contento, le dio a Diego un sobre con los billetes.
En: The vendor, very pleased, gave Diego an envelope with the money.

Es: Diego salió del mercado con su jamón ibérico y una pequeña fortuna en el bolsillo.
En: Diego left the market with his Iberian ham and a small fortune in his pocket.

Es: Nunca imaginó que un simple paseo por el mercado cambiaría su vida.
En: He never imagined that a simple stroll through the market would change his life.
