The early church’s evangelism was primarily about living differently. Jesus washes His disciples’ feet, modeling a countercultural life of service. Furthermore, the Great Commission in John is about embodying Jesus’ mission, not just preaching it. The Gospel disrupts worldly power structures and calls us to radical humility, love, and service.
