You may have heard that desperation never sells. As a salesperson, you may think that it may help you generate sales but, it does the opposite.

Selling without being salesy can be a challenge, but it's not impossible! Focus on building relationships and providing them with value. This could be in the form of helpful advice, educational resources, or simply being available to answer their questions.  

You can also focus on the benefits of your product and how it can help them solve a problem or improve their lives. Make sure to avoid aggressive sales tactics and be honest about the features of your product.
