3:10pm- On Wednesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services, testified before the Senate Finance Committee. During his opening statement, Kennedy emphasized that he is “not anti-vaccine” and said he had no interest in taking anyone’s food away from them. Kennedy joked that, in fact, his “boss” is a big fan of McDonald’s and Diet Coke.

3:50pm- BREAKING NEWS: Former U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) has been sentenced to 11-years in prison. Last year, Menendez was found guilty of multiple counts of bribery and extortion—trading his political power for compensation, sometimes in the form of gold bars. According to reports, Menendez’s conviction marks the first time a U.S. Senator in a leadership position has been found guilty of serving as a foreign agent while in office.
