Former Vice President Dick Cheney, who served under President George W. Bush from 2001 to 2009, has died at the age of 84.

His family said in a statement, “The former Vice President died due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease," and that his family was with him as he passed. (NBC News)
