She started working to support small businesses and assorted projects in the running world, but a career defining moment was her New York Times women's sports series. This visual project highlighting the gap in women's sports coverage thrust Katie more permanently in the sports world and catapulted her design career in sport. Katie has worked with a wide array of clients to bring their visions to life, but she has most notably created brand universes for HOKA for their activations in road, trail, cross country and track.
