Most of us probably think we know what The Lord’s Supper is all about. The church has been observing the Lord’s Supper for 2,000 years, but because of our familiarity, there can be the potential to approach it without the reverence that it deserves. In a culture that is becoming increasingly casual, we need to be reminded that there is nothing casual about the Lord’s Supper.

This week in our “Crossroads” series, Pastor Clay is walking us through the last half of 1 Corinthians chapter 11, where the Apostle Paul has a stern word and sober warning for the church in Corinth in regards to its practice of the Lord’s Supper. His warning to them is a timely word for the church today. While some people see the Lord’s Supper as just some tradition or ritual to be practiced, God sees something very different.
