Do you know how important it is to connect your mind, body, and spirit? If so, how well do you do it? With our guest -- yoga student and instructor, Amy Tenney -- we discuss how to have a positive relationship with our body and one that is full of gratitude for what it can do. Amy shares ideas of how we can cultivate this gratitude and not focus on what our body can't do or what we wish were better about it. We even do a simple, yet effective breathing exercise with Amy that you can do every day on your own. After listening to this episode, we hope you'll be more appreciative of the amazing gift that your body is and to live in gratitude daily for all it’s capable of doing.

**SHOW NOTES:**

Tips to cultivate gratitude for your body:

- Close your eyes, take a deep breath in and a deep breath out, and notice the sensations in your body and what your body is telling you.

- Take a moment in the sun in the morning.

- Look for the good moments and blessings that come from times when you’re ill or not feeling your best.

- Keep a gratitude journal—write down one thing a day about your physical body that you’re grateful for.
