Happy 2020! My guest today is amazing Liz Marie Galvan. Liz is a designer and shop owner (The Found Cottage) in Grand Rapids, Mich. She and her veteran husband live on a “farm fixer upper” from the mid-1800s, working on ways to make their surroundings cozy, in the joyful day-to-day and even in the middle of tumultuous life circumstances that have been beyond their control.

Liz Marie and her husband, Jose, have endured losing nine babies to miscarriages (and, they’ve shared their story very transparently on Liz Marie’s blog. From the homepage, go to “Our Fertility Story.”). They have always wanted to make a cozy home for themselves with children, and Liz Marie always aspired to create a cozy place to return to when Jose was deployed. Through various twists and turns, Liz Marie and Jose recently became parents of a little boy, Copeland Beau, through adoption and are learning every day what "cozy” means to their expanded family. She also recently released  "Cozy White Cottage: 100 Ways to Love the Feeling of Being Home " all about how to increase the coziness and hospitality in your home.
