Peter Carey, custom knife maker, joins Bob "The Knife Junkie" on episode 232 of The Knife Junkie Podcast. Carey has been making custom tactical and dress tactical folders since 1997. He also makes fixed blade tactical, hunting and utility knives.
He makes custom dress folders in a variety of exotic materials, including pearl, mammoth ivory, exotic woods and MokuTi or Timascus. All of Carey’s knives are handmade using manual machines from designs drawn by hand. He has collaborated with Spyderco on the Magnitude, Rubicon and Rubicon 2 and has a new collaboration with Monterey Bay Knives.
Carey grew up in southern California but now lives, works and fishes in Texas.
