There seems to always be a tension in our lives between our spiritual life and the selfish side of us. The problem lies in that taking the path of our selfish tendencies is easier. In the river of life we often find ourselves being dragged along by the current towards our selfish behaviour only to find our spiritual side calling us to swim against that current. So how do we do this? And maybe before that questions, why should we do this? It’s harder, and not always fun. So why?
