Dr. Garza attended Texas A&M Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry to obtain a DDS degree. While in dental school, he served as president of his dental school class. He also was recognized with awards such as: · Distinguished achievement in Oral Surgery as a senior student given by the Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. · Outstanding student leader award given by American College of Dentists. After dental school, he attended The University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center for a Certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Certificate in General Surgery. He trained for 6 years in the prestigious Texas Medical Center. While in his Oral Surgery residency he obtained his medical degree at McGovern Medical School. Dr. Garza is board certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Garza receives periodontology and implantology training yearly at the world-class Implante Perio Institute in Brazil.
