Donnie Hasseltine is a U.S. Marine Corps officer currently stationed in the Bay Area with the 23d Marine Regiment who served in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, the Joint Military Intelligence College, the Naval War College, and recently completed an Executive Master in Cybersecurity at Brown University.

Hasseltine was a member of the winning team for New York University’s Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) 2018 Cyber Policy competition for their proposal to secure U.S. elections infrastructure. He was a 2018 recipient of the CrowdStrike Foundation’s inaugural NextGen Scholarship for Cybersecurity Leadership, and most recently won 2d Place in the U.S. Naval Institute’s cyber essay competition for an article he wrote based on research conducted at Brown University.
