On Wednesday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett, he’s joined by Jim Moore, the Go-2-Guy and his weekly Seahawks guest, Rob Staton, SeahawksDraftBlog.com. Puck gave Ryan Divish, Seattle Times the week off because coming out on Thursday is Puck’s Mariners Offseason DiamondTable Show with Divish, Adam Jude of the Seattle Times, Jim Duquette, MLB Network Radio and Bill Krueger and Brad Adam from ROOT Sports.
Puck and Jim open up the show discussing the Jake Dickert comments about Oregon State where he doesn’t consider the Beavers his buddies. That led to a conversation about the changing landscape of college football and will there be a day where all the West coast teams play in one conference again.
Puck plays a soundbite from WSU defensive tackle David Gusta about the world of the transfer portal and the world of tampering by other college coaches. They discuss the up and down play of Geno Smith and get into the discussion of whether to pay him or not pay him. It’s a subject that is driving Rob mad!
Should the Seahawks drop everything and sign Ernest Jones to a contract? Rob and Puck are both an agreement that it’s way too early and let the season play out before you come to any conclusion. They also can’t figure out why Pro Football Focus (PFF) does not like Jones.
