You might know him as one half of Double-Dan - a showman skilled at entertaining audiences of horse-lovers and ordinary folk alike- he's also an author, a farrier and a renowned horse trainer and breaker.

So how did Dan Steers, a kid from the suburbs of Perth who only discovered horse-riding through the local PCYC, land on the international stage? Here's a hint: plenty of hustle and hard work, more than a few gambles and a pinch of good luck.

Our Final conversation for the season is one that needs to be had. Real and raw conversations seem to be the theme of the season, and something that we feel society needs more of. As Brett Pechey opens up, it’s obvious the heartache and despair in his voice about his personal experience with mental health and suicide. We acknowledge how hard this is for Brett to share and for some to hear.
But the hard conversations are always worth having.
They help create awareness, break the cycle and remind us that help and support surrounds us.
