Days of Our Lives sees EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), is in hot water with Arnold Fenger (Galen Gering), a storyline that could lead to his exit from the show. The plot thickens as Arnold, impersonating Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), could land EJ in jail. Meanwhile, Belle Black (Martha Madison), steps in as the new District Attorney adding to EJ's troubles on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL sees the fake Rafe plot unfold and EJ scrambles to keep his secrets hidden, but with Arnold's potential arrest looming, his time may be running out. Adding to the drama, Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) mysteriously disappears, potentially thwarting EJ's plans. The climax of the storyline is EJ's shooting, hinted at in the Days of Days super promo. 

Days of our Lives fans hope for Feuerriegel's return, the revolving door of actors on the show leaves his character's fate uncertain. The plot also reveals some of EJ's past sins, further damaging his relationship with his son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
