My guest this week is Amanda Smith, LCSW. She shares some great information on what DBT is, how it’s practiced, and how to find a therapist who is trained in the technique.

On that note, I recommend a few books on mindfulness. The first, Coming To Our Senses by Jon Kabat Zinn, is a hefty tome that is worth it’s weight in knowledge. The second, The Miracle of Mindfulness, is a thin volume that takes no time to read but will stick with you long after you’ve read it.
