In the spring of 2016, Brett Ryan’s future looked promising.  He was living in a waterfront condo, had a job at a Toronto tech firm, and was just days away from his big bachelor party weekend.



In a few weeks' time, he’d be marrying his beautiful fiancé and by all outward appearances, things never looked brighter.



But like a heat mirage on a stretch of highway, it was all an illusion and Brett Ryan was about to be exposed.
