•A drill that struck a two-inch natural gas line caused a major leak into the basement of a longtime Wenatchee apartment complex. The Vradenburg apartments on downtown Yakima Street had to be evacuated just after 2pm today, along with buildings in the vicinity including the Wenatchee Police Department, and the NCWLIFE studios.
•Chelan County residents who’ve suffered losses as a result of the recent windstorm and flood are being asked to report the damage to begin the process for financial assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
•Lighthouse Christian Ministries filed a federal lawsuit against the city of Wenatchee today over the closure of its soup kitchen.
