Participant’s Bio:
Lee Berthiaume has been covering foreign affairs, international development, trade and politics on Parliament Hill since 2006. Over the past 15 years, he has reported on a number of high-profile and complex military procurements, including the ongoing effort to replace Canada’s CF-18s and the federal government’s National Shipbuilding Strategy. He joined The Canadian Press’s parliamentary bureau in 2016, where he serves as the organization’s defence and veterans affairs reporter. 
Amy McLeod was named Vice President of Corporate Affairs and External Communications at Seaspan Shipyards in September 2019, bringing over 25 years of communications experience in the technology and defence sectors to the role. Most recently, Amy served as Vice President, Strategic Communications and Corporate Diversity Officer at Mitel where, as the senior communications executive and spokesperson, Amy had global responsibility for all corporate communications. She began her career as a political staffer on Parliament Hill.
Jason Haug joined the Ottawa Public Health team in 2010, after running his own health consulting business. In 2016, he started supervising with the Communications unit. They have been able to create new marketing channels, rebrand their tone, and become one of the leading health communications teams in North America.
