Brad is a recognized global leader in technology and innovation within the design and construction space. Prior to his current role as Global Chief Technology Officer for Black & Veatch, one of the world’s largest engineering and construction firms; Brad was a successful entrepreneur, architect, and technology executive. He is the author of  the book “BIM and Construction Management,” has lectured at a number of Universities and conferences and has received a number of awards including Ingram’s 40 under 40, ENR’s 20 under 40, the Manual and Lauren Rosen Service Award and the American Institute of Architects BIM Excellence Award. Currently, Brad is the President of Diode Ventures, the private infrastructure development arm of Black & Veatch; a recent intrapreneurial success within the enterprise where he leads a team that develops ground up renewable energy and data center infrastructure projects to better serve clients all over the world. Brad is an alumni of Kansas State University, an Advisory Board Member for the New School of Architecture and American Cancer Society volunteer. He lives in Overland Park, KS with his wife and three children Lucia, Wesley and Hugo.
