First, a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) provides skills in financial management, marketing, strategic planning, and leadership. Moreover, these skills can increase efficiency while maximizing practice profits. Furthermore, an MBA can help create a smooth-running practice with motivated, high-performing staff.

In short, should you head back to night school to add an MBA degree to your CV?

Specifically, this week's "Beauty and the Biz" Podcast guest holds both MD and MBA degrees, so we'll let him answer that question.

Additionally, Dr. Cory Goldberg, a Royal College-certified plastic surgeon with advanced training in craniofacial surgery at the University of Southern California and Cedars-Sinai Hospital, completed an executive MBA. Specifically, he pursued the degree to develop non-hospital surgical facilities for Ontario while also consulting with pharmaceutical companies on business development.

Now, in private practice in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Goldberg brings a unique perspective. Importantly, he shared his insights on:
