There is a reason that much of the World is opposed to Christianity and that is because Christianity exposes sin for what it is! When men and women are born again, they have new hearts and new hearts desire new things, old things pass away. In Ephesus, Idolaters turned from their idols to follow Christ consequently hurting the idolatry business. Those losing money oppose the truth of the Gospel because they love their money more than truth.
