The high level narcissist, so successful and charming, even charismatic draws everyone to him /her. Who can sy "No" to such a compelling personality, especially one who has the "world" at his beck and call.  He leads a heady lifestyle, always on the go, moving with fluidity and command. 

These individuals are accustomed to getting exactly what they want. 

The quote from Corinthians "seeing through a glass darkly" applies to the high level narcissist in that he or she remains in a state of deep delusion indefinitely. 

Those who become seduced and entranced by the high level narcissist have a very difficult time awakening from the visions of earthly perfection that the high level is capable of delivering.

Besides it is so much easier to let someone else take over. The high level narcissist appeals to earl childhood wiahes to be taken care of, to have whatever we want when we want it. The catch is that these narcissists insist on keeping those close to them like possessions they own outright. Remember at the top of their personality traits is Control!

You are at the mercy of the high level especially if you continue to make excuses for their abominable behavior toward you. 

The high level convinces many that the indulgence and gratification will never end. Excess pleasure becomes a goal for many high levels. 

You have an opportunity to awaken from the delusion imposes upon you by the narcissist. This is your chance to retrieve your true self, that indispensable real core of your being together with the independent and full use of your innumerable unique creative gifts.
