Fake voiceprints and fake 3D video of ourselves without actually being recorded is happening. There was a company called Coding Elite that used to 6 hours of Jordan Peterson's own voice samples. He is a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto, best selling author, and they had him singing songs such as lose yourself, rock lobster, and rap. You can go to YouTube to see these. You cannot tell it isn't him singing songs. There's also a Bernie Sanders singing dancing queen, and Donald Trump singing sweet dreams. They match the rhythm, the stress, and sound using artificial intelligence. They even broadcasted a fake speech by Obama.
The University of Washington used words and video with their neural network to model the shape of his mouth and with 14 hours of footage to make the fake as they feel in order to spot you a fake, you need to be able to create a fake. They wanted to be able to reverse engineer other fake videos.
Unfortunately there are a lot of unknown legalities on this topic due to not knowing if your voice is an integral part of your identity or not. We need to beware of fake news and how easy it is to create and how legit it looks, you can't tell the difference. Beware of what you see on your Facebook timeline, check it out on Google to see if it is legit and other news agencies are reporting it.
