This week, hosts Mark Masselli and Margaret Flinter speak with Dr. Darshak Sanghavi, Director of the Preventive and Population Healthcare Models Group at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation which has launched the "Million Hearts" campaign to reduce cardiovascular disease. The 5-year campaign is CMS's largest experiment to date on pay-for-performance practice models and is supporting practices to follow the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association Risk Assessment guidelines to help patients avoid a million heart attacks or strokes.
