In honor of Pride month I'm re-releasing my podcast interview with Dr. Gena Minnix founder of "The Human Empathy Project (tHEP)" tHEP was founded in Austin to foster empathetic connection around faith, gender, and sexual diversity. We cover the etymology and interpretation of the word homosexual and reconciling one's faith when you faith does not agree with the partner or lifestyle you have chosen. Dr. Minnix candidly shares her own story of reconciling her beliefs in order to create a safe space for members of the LGBTQ community to approach her team at tHEP.
