We also discussed the critical role of blood biomarkers in poultry health and performance, as well as the emerging influence of artificial intelligence in veterinary science.

"In poultry, plasma carotenoids are key biomarkers for studying coccidiosis, a common veterinary concern. Our research revealed that carotenoid levels significantly decline up to eight days before clinical signs of coccidiosis appear, indicating their importance in monitoring gut health."

He completed his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology at Nicholls State University, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Louisiana State University. Currently, he serves as a Technical Services Manager at dsm-firmenich.
