7: Dr. Tauheed Zaman - Talking about evidence-based addiction treatment, queer resilience, and singing with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.

(he/him/his) Dr. Tauheed Zaman is an addiction psychiatrist at the UCSF and San Francisco VA. He leads a team that helps people access treatment for addiction, trauma, and other mental health issues. Dr. Zaman teaches junior doctors how to provide compassionate care to all patients, including folks who identify as LGBTQ+ and non-binary. He is also a singer and storyteller with the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, and believes in the healing power of art.
