Binge-Worthy
You won't be able to put down this adorable, Cinderella-esque tale about a girl who goes from rags to riches and meets her prince!Â
Penny Lane (yes, like the Beatles' song) works in London café, was just dumped by her boyfriend who is now working in Australia, and is trying to get her art career off the ground. Everything changes for her when she rescues a child from getting hit by a train, and she gets her 15 minutes of fame. She is approached by a lady with an extraordinary proposition: pose as her boss at events until her boss gains back her self-confidence. All of the sudden, her life is turning around. She is able to pay off debts, her art career is taking off, and she can finally realize her dream: traveling to Venice (and honestly, I'm jealousâI so want to go to Venice!).Â
T.A. Williams writes such charming, warm, funny characters, that you can't help falling in love with and cheering them on. If you need a heartwarming read, pick this up! The story is captivating, and you won't be able to set it down.
I loved this trip back to Venice.
I couldn't bare to put this book down - having visited Venice it was a wonderful trip back. Loved the quirky story line of an artist experiencing a life of riches for a space in time. The characters were so lovable you lost yourself in the charade. Thank you T.A. Williams I can't wait to read another of your books.

Since Rico thought Penny was Olivia, why did Penny go to the cheap hotel? Would have made more sense to go to the expensive one since he already thought that she was a multi-millionaire
Since Rico thought Penny was Olivia, why did Penny pretend she lived in a cheap hotel? It would have made more sense to go to the luxury hotel she was staying in, since Rico thought she was a millionaire. That deception was just plain weird . Penny was playing the part of Olivia not herself.
