Zainab, born in Raleigh, is running for City Council to represent the younger generation and ensure that this wonderful city cares for all of its citizens for the next 50 years. It is notable that she is also a Muslim American citizen and although she is so much more than that, her story has been defined by events of 9-11, Gulf Wars, and #OurThreeWinners.
