10.10.2019 - By Tennille Southcombe & Emma Wilson
Emma and Tennille discuss how to deal with the junk-food-athon that can accompany any road trip, trip to a snow resort or any situation eating out. They look at three options for meals and snacks, self-catering accommodation, 'grab-and' go at a supermarket en route or just eating out at the destination.
They interview guest, Annabel Selby Jones from www.feedmetoo.com.au, two out of three of her sons have celiac disease. Due to Emma and two sons being gluten intolerant and various dietary preferences, Tennille drills down on the differences and implications between the two (gluten intolerance vs celiac) , the logistics and issues people with dietary requirements face when they travel. Emma and Annabel offer suggestions for meals and snacks as well as suggested reading materials for people who would like to know more.
