Today’s Gospel reminds us of the importance of placing God above everything and not relying on material wealth. Jesus calls us to let go of the things that tie us down and to follow Him with a generous and free heart. He assures us that those who leave everything for Him and the Gospel will be rewarded not only in this life but also with eternal life. While some things may seem impossible for humans, with God, all things are possible.

El evangelio de hoy nos recuerda la importancia de poner a Dios por encima de todas las cosas y no confiar en las riquezas materiales. Jesús nos llama a desprendernos de los bienes que nos atan y a seguirlo con un corazón generoso y libre. Él nos asegura que quienes dejen todo por Él y por el Evangelio recibirán una recompensa no solo en esta vida, sino también la vida eterna. Aunque para los seres humanos algunas cosas parezcan imposibles, para Dios todo es posible.
