Did energy and climate play a role in the US midterm elections?  David Goldwyn and Joseph Majkut look at how the energy and climate agendas may have factored into specific elections and what the outcome means now for the U.S. domestic and international energy and climate agendas. 

 

David Goldwyn is president of Goldwyn Global Strategies, LLC, an international energy advisory consultancy and chairman of the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center’s Energy Advisory Group. Mr. Goldwyn served as the U.S. Department of State’s special envoy and coordinator for international energy affairs from 2009 to 2011 and assistant secretary of energy for international affairs (1999-2001). Mr. Goldwyn is a member of the U.S. National Petroleum Council and the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Goldwyn holds a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University, an M.A. in Public Affairs from Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a J.D. from New York University.
