Several times every year, law enforcement from across the U.S. gather for a meeting of the CVSA – the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, the group that sets the out of service criteria for truckers. This year, in addition to hosting a listening session on autonomous vehicles, they also discussed something extraordinarily important to truckers – that the enforcement community is nowhere near ready to implement ELDs.
