Colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States, but thankfully, stages 0, I, II and III are often curable with surgery. Since surgical interventions play a vital role in the treatment of colon cancer, engaging in pre- and post-operative care is crucial for these patients, as it helps optimize surgical outcomes.
