Heraa Hashmi is the 19-year old Muslim American woman behind the 712-page list of Muslim names condemning a collection of wrongdoings done falsely in the name of Islam, from acts of terrorism to climate change. Heraa was born in India and moved to Colorado at a young age. She's a graduate of the University of Colorado, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology.
