Jim concludes our Walk with Jesus journey to Jerusalem as we approach His betrayal and sacrifice.
In Mark 10:32 to 45, we see yet another example of the disciples missing the heart of what Jesus was teaching. James and John seek to claim a promise from Christ, but they do so through a worldly lens: one focused on position, status, and glory rather than humility, suffering, and service.
As Jesus continues His walk toward the cross, the contrast becomes clear. Along the way, He encounters blindness in more ways than one: not only physical blindness, but spiritual blindness as well.
In this message, Jim brings these truths together with practical applications that challenge us to examine our own hearts and ask whether we are truly Keeping in Step with Jesus.

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help!
Please watch our archive of messages on a variety of topics. Please like and share our content with others that can benefit from what God has inspired our array of speakers to bring to the body.
Most importantly, be sure you are secure in your relationship with God and Christ Jesus. It is so simple. Do not wait. Tomorrow may be too late…
