It’s Palm Sunday, and today we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem: welcomed as a King by crowds who sang, celebrated, and laid down the equivalent of a red carpet before their Messiah. But while the people rejoiced, the religious leaders were anything but pleased. Why?
Today, Gary Froiland returns to unpack this powerful moment in history. And as we look closer, we find that even in the middle of the celebration, Jesus wept over Jerusalem, knowing what lay ahead: not only for Himself, but for the nation of Israel as well.

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help!
